THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT MEDIA COURSE SET BRIEF:

Media Studies is a subject and is a discipline and field of study that deals with the content, history and effects of various media, in particular, the mass media 

Component 1, is the Portfolio of 50 marks,in which we are required to make our own film opening, which should only be of 2 minutes. however, in this we will learn deeply about sound, types of cameras, editing and more. in the film it is important to create a mystery in the story and end it where the problem starts to create the suspense, this will be the film opening of the film.

Component 2, is the Media text and contexts of 50 marks, this will be in written form in examination. in this section A, students will watch an video extract and then attempt question about it of 25 marks. In section B, which is of 25 marks aswell, students will be given multiple choice questions.
