MEDIA KEY CONCEPTS

 Media studies is in the study of mass media as an academic subject. The subject component is 9607.

There are four ket concepts of media:

• Institution
• Media language
• Representation
• Audience

  Institution is used for places who makes media. For example, newspapers, magazines, film production companies, broadcasting companies etc..

Media Language is the way in which the meaning of a media text is conveyed to the audience. For example, cinematography, editing,sounf,mise en scene etc...

Representation is how media represents reality in their products. Televisions, films,and digital media can influence how we see others and how we see ourselves.

 Audience is a group of people who receive a media text. They recive the text in form of newspaper, television, radio, or internet
